Hello and welcome! My name is Fredy Argir, I was born in Hibbing, Minnesota, and for most of my life I have lived in and worked out of Austin, Texas. This section's primary function is to acquaint you with the best ways to view and work with this website, as well as a few introductory comments. The original focus of this website was to provide a forum for my photography, no pun intended and none, I trust, taken. We also have a music section to theoretically
eliminate the need for paper marketing materials that are traditionally required for the pursuit of gigs. So much for the intro. Let's move on to the, ahem, documentation. |

Okay, this isn't rocket surgery here, so I'll run through this quickly. At the top of every page, you will see the same four buttons displayed here to the left of this paragraph. The buttons at the left function the same as those at the top of the page, if you want to try them as you go along. The HOME button always takes you to the home page, the one displayed when you logged on to this website. The BACK button takes you back to the last page you viewed. Pressing it again will take you back to the one before that, and so on. The INDEX button takes you to an index of all the photo collections. Just click on the collection you want to see and, well, need I say more? And the ABOUT button brings you here, to the page you are reading at this moment. Amazing, isn't it? |

This site was written for a minimum monitor display size 0f 1024 x 768. If you aren't seeing the whole page on your screen, you should make this adjustment before continuing. (I strongly recommend 1280 x 1024, not only for this site but for your general browsing.) And, while you're at it, be sure your color setting is for "millions," which is a requirement for viewing color photographs correctly. If this is jibberish to you, it's high time you get up to speed on these essential settings. It only takes a few minutes, so go for it! You need to know this stuff. Trust me on this one. |

At the bottom of every page, eMail Fredy is displayed in the right corner. That's a "mailto" link, and clicking on it should bring up your mail program with my address contained in the "To:" field. "Letters. We get letters. We get stacks and stacks of letters." (Well, not all that many, really.) And most of them ask about prints. Do I sell them? How much are they? What's the process? Well, I do do prints, on a one-off basis, and you just have to contact me for detals. Email is best (see preceding paragraph). I also get requests for larger graphic files, i.e., photoshop files, tiffs, and big high-quality jpegs, for use on websites, in ads, and what-have-you. Check. Got 'em. 10-4. Can and will do. The original images are a jillion pixels wide, so large, gorgeous files can be supplied. Again, email me. You guessed it, at the address in the preceding paragraph. Still with me?
