| October, 2003 (The Badlands, South Dakota) -- What can you say about the Badlands? It's like no place you've ever been, that's for certain. Erosion on a major scale, caused by water flowing from the Black Hills, some distance away. Interesting thing, the water contained lava, which helped carve these rock sculptures. |

| Tech Notes: Once again, because there was no need for rapid-fire capabilities, I relied on my Nikon D100, as well as my Nikon 28-70 zoom, tripod and a "Moose filter." Although the photographs above are landscape images, there are bison and deer contained in these shots. Can you find them? |
