I did a bunch of gigs this year, but none was as fun as the fall tour of Minnesota, where I performed both solo and with "The Faders," see photo below. Many friends and family joined me/us on the tour, which was great. I did the E.P. Atelier in Minneapolis, a really nice gig, then the trio joined me for the Bothy Folk Club in Mankato (see ad below), which was truly memorable, Amazing Grace in Duluth, easily one of my fave places, and of course, Zimmy's in Hibbing, a cool place in my home town. These hastily-captured images don't begin to tell the underlying stories. But it was chilly. Never a fan of the white fluffy, snow in early October doesn't do it for me.

Tech Notes: Again, this wasn't really a photography trip, but I hardly leave the house without my D2H these days. Well, that might be a bit of hyperbole, but I do take it on almost every trip. I didn't carry a ton of lenses, but I used both the omnipresent 24-85 as well as my 12-24 DX on these, and it should be obvious which is which. I should say that it wasn't my intention to document this tour, but rather just capture a taste of where we were.
